About the role

The Director of Cardiovascular Services is responsible for the leadership, successful operations, and quality of Cardiovascular Services. You will facilitate the integration and teamwork of all Cardiovascular Departments for optimal care of patients. You will work in conjunction with the facility administrative staff and the Cardiovascular Services Medical Director to ensure the highest level of care for patients, and ensures that all services provided meet all regulatory requirements and guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the integration and teamwork of all Cardiovascular Departments for optimal care of patients
  • Work in conjunction with the facility administrative staff and the Cardiovascular Services Medical Director to ensure the highest level of care for patients, and ensures that all services provided meet all regulatory requirements and guidelines
  • Work with physicians to adopt and incorporate quality initiatives
  • Develop and implement strategic and tactical plans to maximize the effectiveness of Cardiovascular services at the facility, including capital and operational budget planning and management
  • Maintain LA and Ventura County STEMI designation and Society of Chest Pain Centers Chest Pain Center accreditation
  • Maintain The Joint Commission Primary Stroke Center designation and County designation as appropriate

Qualifications

  • College Degree required, Masters preferred (MSN, MBA, or MHA)
  • Current California State Registered Nurse license or Radiologic Technologist registered through the ARRT and certified by the State of California required
  • Minimum of 5 (prefer 10) years in Cardiovascular Services, with at least half of those years in Cardiovascular leadership (prefer in a program with full Cardiovascular services)

Salary Estimate: $141544.00 - $212160.00 / year
