Director of Building Services

About the role

Acts is currently seeking a Director of Building Services to manage the planning and coordination of the community maintenance function, including overseeing technical maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

• Manage, coordinate, schedule, and assist (hands-on) all technical maintenance activities of employees engaged in monitoring, maintaining, and repairing of community and surrounding property.
• Ensure adherence to National Fire Protection codes, EPA, and OSHA, and other local, state, and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and maintenance needs are met.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5-10 years of related experience with 5 or more years progressively challenging managerial experience.
• Technical knowledge of electronics, carpentry, painting, plumbing, heating, air conditioning, commercial kitchen appliances, and sprinkler systems.
• Knowledgeable in National Fire Protection codes, EPA, and OSHA, and other local, state, and federal regulations.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Pay

$67,898.00 - $83,499.00 / year. Starting rate will vary based on skills and experience.
