Building Services Director

About the role

Touchmark at Harwood Grove is Fargo's premier retirement community, enriching the lives of residents and their families through five-star hospitality, services, and amenities. We are currently seeking a candidate with a passion for excellent customer service and outstanding hospitality to join our team as the Building Services Director.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire Building Services department on our campus.
• Coordinate and supervise the various Building Services projects throughout our community.
• Manage tasks such as apartment and home refurbishment;
• Landscaping and grounds keeping;
• Housekeeping;
• Electrical maintenance and installation;
• Heating and cooling systems;
• Ordering project parts/supplies;
• Ensuring all state and federal codes are met;
• Maintaining the Building Services budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or combination of education and experience in the trade services.
• 5 years’ experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
• Successful previous record of responsible stewardship of a multi-faceted budget.
• Previous positions must demonstrate increasingly responsible experience in large campus management and 5+ years’ experience managing staff.
• A strong understanding of building systems to include: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, Life Safety, carpentry, painting, floor coverings, etc.
• Possession of valid driver's License.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
