Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology
- Professional licensure in your field (LMSW, LPC, etc.)
- At least five (5) years of full-time clinical casework experience with children and families, including 2 years of supervisory/management experience
- Valid Michigan driver’s license
Responsibilities
- Manage all administrative, clinical, and programmatic functions related to services delivered within the Easterseals MORC West Michigan location
- Enforce agency policies and procedures; may develop new policies and procedures to support programming operations
- Oversee and manage the budget for services under the West Michigan scope, including any/all grants assigned; authorize expenditures and secure additional funding sources
- Instruct, assign, schedule, check, and appraise staff performance; hire, approve disciplinary action, discharge, pay increases, and/or promotions
- Perform quality, sentinel event, and risk case reviews for subordinate staff; assist staff in improving professional skills by providing information on conferences, seminars, new techniques, and relevant legislation
- Provide in-service trainings and facilitate site all-staff meetings
- Act as a liaison with community agencies, parent support groups, and other mental health service providers; maintain awareness of available human services to support client needs
- Ensure paperwork is maintained in accordance with Medicaid, Department of Community Health guidelines, Easterseals policies, and contractor/grant requirements
