Director of Assisted Living

Supervisory Duties

• Interviews, selects, trains, motivates, and administers wages and salaries for staff
• Maintains policies and procedures to support departmental goals
• Assists with assessments of new residents moving into Assisted Living
• Maintains the appearance of the Assisted Living Department
• Participates in Level of Care meetings
• Manages daily resident needs
• Communicates resident needs or changes to family members
• Conducts family meetings related to residents
• Oversees medication dispensing and handling
• Maintains proper medication inventory levels and conducts regular audits
• Oversees Monthly Observation Review and Reporting System (MORS)

Strategic Planning and Operations

• Implements cost control measures
• Meets budget goals
