DIRECTOR OF ANCILLARY SERVICES

Job Summary

Responsible for the effective management and operation of the Cardiopulmonary, Radiology, Laboratory and Physical Therapy departments. Directly responsible for the job performance of the Ancillary department Technical Directors. A direct liaison between the Ancillary departments, Hospital Administration and Medical Staff.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Health Services Administration, Business Administration, or related field, preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in a patient care field (nursing, respiratory, laboratory, physical therapy or radiology) required.
• Over ten years of experience in a healthcare.
• Five years in a leadership role (clinical director).
• Extensive knowledge of regulatory compliance and standards in healthcare services.
• Demonstrated experience in budgeting, financial management, and cost control.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Pioneered experience of at least 5 years in a leadership role within the healthcare industry, preferably in ancillary services.
