Director of Analytics and Insights
Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager.
About the role
As a Director of Analytics/Insights, you will drive business growth through data-driven insights, leading cross-functional teams to develop and execute innovative marketing analytics strategies. You will collaborate with stakeholders to quantify opportunities, optimize customer experiences, and evaluate marketing effectiveness. With expertise in analytics, you will foster a culture of data-informed decision-making, guiding team members in extracting insights from diverse data sources. You will also develop and maintain key client relationships through exceptional analytics expertise and strategic guidance.
Responsibilities
- Lead and guide junior team members in extracting data from diverse marketing platforms, ensuring data hygiene and quality control.
- Provide thought leadership in innovative marketing analytics methodologies, techniques, and technologies.
- Oversee data analysis, key findings, and observations, ensuring clear articulation.
- Develop analytical plans, selecting methodologies, techniques, KPIs, and metrics.
- Manage external vendors, including online services, research firms, and marketing agencies.
- Lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and actionable insights.
- Support new business opportunities through slide creation, editing, and strategic guidance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Media, Statistics, Finance, Mathematics, Accounting, Computer Science, or related fields (preferred).
- 8-10 years of experience in Marketing Analytics or related fields (Advertising, Retail Marketing, Product Marketing, etc.).
- Expertise in digital analytics tools (Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Adobe) and data infrastructure (SQL, MySQL, NoSQL, Cloud Storage).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle complex business challenges.
- Effective stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Leadership abilities to train and guide junior team members.
- Proficiency in summarizing disparate datasets using various platforms (Excel, Tableau, PPT, SQL).
- Adaptability in fast-paced environments, with the ability to pivot to changing business needs.
Pay
$145,000 - $190,000
Schedule
Minimum of three days a week in the office, with potential for additional in-office days as directed by the agency or manager.
