About the role

The Director of Analytics and Data Administration plays a critical leadership role in driving fundraising effectiveness at TCNJ through the integrity, accessibility, and strategic use of constituent data.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all system integrations with the primary Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) system, Raiser's Edge.
  • Manage data flow from auxiliary systems to ensure seamless and accurate data transfer.
  • Act as the technical lead for major CRM upgrades, conversions, and implementation projects.
  • Establish and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for data entry, gift processing, data hygiene, and report generation.
  • Lead initiatives to cleanse and enrich data, ensuring records are accurate and up-to-date for effective solicitation.
  • Produce complex fundraising reports and dashboards for all levels of management.
  • Translate raw data into actionable insights for the AVP and other Advancement leaders.
  • Develop and implement system workflows within the CRM to streamline and support the Development team's day-to-day operations.
  • Provide advanced training and documentation to staff on data best practices and efficient system usage.
  • Other duties as assigned by the ED and senior leadership.

Requirements

  • Graduated from an accredited college with a Bachelor's degree.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Raiser's Edge (or comparable advanced CRM).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, data modeling, validation, and large-dataset analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and optimizing third-party system integrations.
  • Experience with advancement reporting and analytics.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree preferred.

This role requires a unique combination of technical proficiency (especially with Raiser's Edge or similar CRM), leadership, and analytical thinking to transform data into the knowledge needed to maximize fundraising potential.

$100,000 - $115,000

Schedule

Full-time, 35 hours a week
