Director of AI Enablement

Responsibilities

• Work with the Kellogg leadership team to build the AI enablement team, establish strategy and priorities and lead a small team of technical experts to deliver the strategic priorities.
• Work with faculty to identify AI-backed innovations for our curriculum.
• Proactively drive conversations with stakeholders to identify priorities for delivery of solutions and judicious experimentation with new concepts.
• Decide what gets worked on and accountable for delivery.
• Build a network of partnerships (inside and outside NU) to enable delivery of solutions.
• Promote voluntary adoption of successful innovations by other faculty / stakeholders.
• Promote architectural leadership to ensure solutions are sustainable and secure.

Requirements

• They are excited to engage faculty on teaching and research projects.
• They are a systems thinker; they have technical product management experience, preferably prior experience leading a higher-ed team that has developed creative applications for other disruptive technologies.
• Sufficient technical literacy to challenge developers as necessary.
• Organizational astuteness: the ability to manage conflicting priorities tactfully and maintain faculty confidence.

Qualifications

• Completion of a PhD or Masters level degree preferred or comparable experience.

Skills

• Technical product management experience.
• Experience leading a higher-ed team that has developed creative applications for other disruptive technologies.

Pay

The expected base pay range for this position is $220,000 - $250,000. This base pay range is for a twelve-month academic appointment and is subject to negotiation.
