About the role

The ideal candidate will navigate cross-cultural family dynamics and the expectation of seamless, sophisticated engagement as confidently as they do the established patterns of Miami's private school community. Alpha represents a departure from conventional schooling. Students complete core academic work in two hours daily through AI-powered applications, then dedicate remaining time to public speaking, critical thinking, and applied projects. No traditional lectures. No unnecessary assignments. Top 1% outcomes nationally.

Responsibilities

  • Shape the cultural fabric of the school community—the atmosphere, rituals, and implicit norms that foster a sense of belonging—so Alpha becomes a place families take pride in, not merely a school they selected
  • Steward the entire parent relationship arc—from initial contact through enrollment, ongoing retention, and sustained advocacy—so faculty remain concentrated on students and families always have a reliable point of contact
  • Detect early signals when dynamics shift, and address them with the care and judgment that preserve confidence—including the more challenging determination of when a family is not aligned with Alpha's model
  • Maintain visibility where families gather: morning arrivals, afternoon departures, evening programs, and the spontaneous exchanges that carry the most weight
  • Develop a community that both domestic and international families actively champion—and where word-of-mouth referrals flow naturally from the quality of the experience
  • Communicate Alpha's narrative persuasively—in individual meetings, at community events, and in the sophisticated, globally connected circles where the school's standing is truly established

Requirements

  • 5+ years building and maintaining trust with high-net-worth or ultra-high-net-worth families in a relationship-intensive, high-touch capacity
  • Demonstrated success guiding discerning clients through consequential decisions—with measurable outcomes you can reference: conversion rates, retention figures, referral volume
  • The discretion and steadiness to navigate sensitive, confidential matters without leaving visible impact
  • Proven experience managing and developing people—mentoring, upholding rigorous standards, and executing difficult personnel decisions—not simply managing relationships or client accounts
  • Innate cross-cultural fluency with globally mobile families and established Miami residents
  • AI-forward orientation—you use AI tools with ease, understand their strengths and limitations, and actively introduce improved solutions, even if you are not building them directly
  • Located in Miami, available for full-time on-site engagement, and adaptable to non-standard hours
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship

Nice-to-have Requirements

  • Background as a head of school, principal, superintendent, or equivalent school leadership position
  • Professional proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese
  • Personal or professional exposure to independent or non-traditional educational models
  • Established connections within Miami's private school parent communities
  • Experience serving internationally mobile, Latin American, or globally connected family populations
  • A personal network extending into the neighborhoods, clubs, and institutions where Alpha's families reside and make decisions
