About the Opportunity
The Director of Advanced Manufacturing leads the strategic growth and operations of the advanced manufacturing business across multiple states in the Southeast region. This role is pivotal in expanding market presence, strengthening client relationships at executive levels, and guiding teams through evolving industry trends. The position directly influences the organization's success by overseeing market development, innovation, and collaboration across functions to deliver projects effectively.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic growth and execution of advanced manufacturing business across all designated regions.
- Develop and implement annual business and operations plans aligned with corporate goals.
- Serve as subject matter expert in advanced manufacturing construction, technologies, and regulations.
- Identify and secure new opportunities including renovations, expansions, and greenfield projects.
- Maintain strong relationships with C-suite, board-level, and institutional clients.
- Collaborate with architects, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure project success.
- Represent the organization at industry conferences and client engagements.
- Partner with executive and regional leadership on strategy and growth initiatives.
- Utilize organizational capabilities such as energy and technology solutions to enhance value propositions.
- Provide region-specific growth plans including SWOT analyses.
- Build, mentor, and expand advanced manufacturing teams across regions.
- Monitor market trends, technology advancements, sustainability practices, and AI impacts.
- Train teams to become subject matter experts in advanced manufacturing trends.
- Support marketing, business development, and proposal efforts to strengthen the brand.
Requirements
- Proven experience in business development, strategic advisory, or consulting within construction, manufacturing, or technology sectors.
- Demonstrated success leading growth initiatives across multiple geographies.
- Experience advising executive leadership and senior clients on complex projects.
- Public speaking, industry thought leadership, or published insights preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
Pay Range and Compensation Package
