About the Opportunity
The Director of Advanced Manufacturing is responsible for leading strategic growth and market development in the Southeast region. This role focuses on building client relationships, guiding team performance, and driving successful project execution across the Advanced Manufacturing market. The position plays a key role in shaping strategy, expanding market reach, and ensuring the delivery of complex projects aligned with industry trends and organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic growth and execution of Advanced Manufacturing projects across multiple states.
- Develop and implement annual business and operational plans.
- Serve as subject matter expert in Advanced Manufacturing construction and related technologies.
- Identify and secure new project opportunities including renovations, expansions, and greenfield developments.
- Build and maintain relationships with executive-level clients and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with architects, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure project success.
- Represent the organization at industry events and client engagements.
- Partner with executive and regional leaders on strategy and growth initiatives.
- Utilize internal capabilities such as energy and technology services to enhance project value.
- Conduct regional market analyses including SWOT to guide business focus.
- Build and mentor teams across all relevant regions.
- Monitor industry trends including sustainability and AI impacts to inform strategy and training.
- Support marketing and business development efforts to reinforce the brand in the sector.
Requirements
- Experience in business development or strategic advisory within construction, manufacturing, or technology sectors.
- Proven success leading growth initiatives across multiple geographic regions.
- Ability to advise executive leadership on complex projects.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Public speaking or industry thought leadership experience is beneficial.
Pay Range and Compensation Package
