Position Details

Full-time employed directorship role with the Renown Institute for Heart & Vascular Health with an opportunity for a joint faculty appointment at the University of Nevada Reno School of Medicine
Paid directorship carve-out with a focus on Coronary CT Angiography, Cardiac MRI, and PET imaging modalities.
Interventional imaging such as transesophageal echocardiography is available, but is not expected to be a primary clinical focus in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Providing visionary leadership to maintain a frontline technology leader position in the community
  • Aiding with the staff training and daily operations of the various advanced cardiac imaging modalities
  • Overseeing quality measurement and improvement and optimizing value-based resource utilization of the advanced cardiac services
  • Collaborating with radiology colleagues to maintain high quality advanced cardiac imaging services
  • Continued training and quality assessment of cardiology colleagues providing interpretation services
  • Access to AI-assisted interpretation of coronary CT angiograms, cardiac MRI, and PET imaging.
  • Participation in a non-invasive cardiology clinic and call schedule.

Qualifications

  • Completed a fellowship in Advanced Cardiac Imaging
  • At least 2 years of practice experience
  • Exceptional new graduates from an Advanced Cardiac Imaging fellowship may also be considered
