Director of Admissions

About the role

The Director of Admissions oversees the management of inquiries and the entire process of engaging with and enrolling new students. This role directs the admissions team to maintain a consistent flow of potential inquiries, attract, engage, and vet candidates, and ensure successful enrollment and matriculation into programs that align with students' career goals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee candidate prospecting and manage inquiries.
• Monitor and review the admissions process.
• Manage team performance and provide leadership.
• Coordinate and direct the admissions workflow from initial contact through enrollment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from a four‑year college or university.
• At least five years of related managerial experience, with a minimum of three years in admissions, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Documented success in college admissions.
• Exceptional leadership and team‑building ability.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to succeed in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
• Strong computer skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
