Director of Admissions

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day admissions operations, ensuring compliance with policies, accreditation standards, and best practices
  • Oversee application review, interview coordination, and admissions decision processes as a key Admissions Committee member
  • Manage and develop a high-performing admissions team; set performance expectations and ensure exceptional service delivery
  • Execute recruitment strategies, including local, regional, and national travel for events, fairs, and outreach
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to streamline admissions, enrollment, and matriculation processes
  • Maintain strong relationships with pre-health advisors and stakeholders
  • Monitor admissions data, generate reports, and provide insights on trends, yield, and performance metrics
  • Support budget planning, track expenses, and ensure adherence to financial guidelines

Qualifications

  • Education & Experience
  • Master’s degree in Higher Education, Student Affairs, Business, or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive admissions experience; 3+ years in a supervisory role
  • Medical/health professions admissions experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of CRM systems, admissions processes, and data reporting tools
  • Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Data-driven, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused
  • Passion for medical education and student success
  • Commitment to ethical, holistic admissions practices and a student-centered approach

Schedule & Location

On-site, in office in Provo, UT
Mon-Fri regular schedule with ability to travel regularly and work occasionally in the evening and on the weekend
