This is a highly metrics-driven role, requiring comfort with managing performance, analyzing data, and holding a team accountable to results—while ensuring the admissions process remains consultative, ethical, and focused on the best interests of each prospective student.

Key Competencies

  • Inspire and guide the admissions team, promoting collaboration and professional growth through mentorship.
  • Create and implement an admissions strategy aligned with institutional goals, using market research to identify target audiences.
  • Analyze admissions data to inform strategies, optimize recruitment efforts, and improve conversion rates.
  • Collaborate with other departments to advance the institution’s diversity and inclusion initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Admissions Team Leadership and Development
    • Manage, coach, and develop a team of Admissions Representatives and support staff.
    • Set clear expectations, monitor daily activity, and hold team members accountable to performance goals.
    • Lead by example through active participation in the admissions process, including interviewing and enrolling prospective students.
  • Enrollment Performance and Execution
    • Execute campus-level strategies to meet or exceed enrollment targets.
    • Track, analyze, and manage daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics across the admissions funnel.
    • Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase conversion rates, and optimize team performance.
    • Ensure performance expectations are achieved while maintaining a student-first, consultative admissions approach.
  • Manage the Student Enrollment Process
    • Oversee the full inquiry-to-enrollment lifecycle, ensuring a seamless and professional experience for prospective students.
    • Ensure timely follow-up, appointment setting, interviewing, application processing, and orientation attendance.
    • Maintain high standards of service, professionalism, and ethical admissions practices.
  • Compliance & Data Accuracy
    • Ensure all admissions activities align with company policies, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements.
    • Maintain accurate and timely records in CampusVue, including required documentation and audit readiness.
    • Train and support staff on systems, processes, and compliance expectations.
  • Collaborate Across Campus
    • Partner with Financial Services, Career Services, Academics, and Campus Leadership to support student enrollment and success.
    • Contribute to campus-wide initiatives and overall performance goals.
  • Support Outreach & Community Engagement
    • Support local outreach efforts including career fairs, events, and community partnerships.
    • Encourage team participation in activities that generate prospective student interest.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred).
  • 5+ years of management experience or proven leadership in a relevant role, demonstrating a track record of effectively guiding teams, driving performance, and achieving organizational goals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a patient approach to resolving admissions challenges.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proven integrity and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Excellent persuasive communication abilities with a strong focus on customer/student satisfaction.
  • Highly motivated with a passion for achieving goals.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed.
