About Alpha

Alpha is constructing one of the world's most forward-looking school models. Our campuses integrate demanding academics, technology-enabled instruction, and elevated expectations for both students and faculty. Students routinely exceed national learning benchmarks, supported by verifiable data. Afternoons shift toward deeper inquiry, self-directed work, and practical skill development. The model delivers results. But those results depend on enrolling the right families.

About the Role

You will control the admissions process for an entire campus, spanning application to enrollment completion. This is not a coordination role. You determine how families perceive us, how well they grasp the model, and whether their enrollment decision reflects genuine fit. You will evaluate alignment, facilitate informed discussions, and recommend against admission when appropriate. The objective is not to maximize numbers. The objective is to ensure compatibility.

We welcome candidates from high-end service backgrounds outside conventional education: selective independent schools, competitive programs, luxury hospitality, executive assistance, premium membership organizations, or entrepreneurial operators who have directly overseen high-value client relationships from start to finish. What counts is your capacity to execute a meticulous, multi-phase process with sound judgment, precision, and accountability. If your career has centered on delivering exceptional service where trust, discretion, and experiential excellence define the brand, this role will resonate.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Taking full ownership of the enrollment experience for prospective families, spanning initial contact through final onboarding.
  • Facilitating needs-based discussions to evaluate compatibility before proposing solutions or advising on subsequent actions.
  • Tracking 20+ concurrent family relationships across various enrollment stages, maintaining transparent progress and follow-up protocols.
  • Facilitating campus visits, student shadow days, and enrollment conversations that transparently convey results, expectations, and ideal candidate profiles.
  • Ensuring precise CRM and enrollment data integrity (HubSpot and SIS) to enable forecasting, prioritization, and service excellence.

What You Won't Be Doing

  • Applying transactional or aggressive sales methods.
  • Admitting families lacking alignment solely to meet enrollment targets.
  • Overseeing a sizable team or navigating complex hierarchical structures.
  • Distributing accountability for the family experience across multiple departments.
  • Operating remotely. This position requires on-campus presence.

Key Responsibilities

Design and deliver a high-trust, selective enrollment process that secures ideal families while safeguarding the integrity and academic performance of the Alpha model.

Basic Requirements

  • 3+ years providing premium, individualized service in settings where service excellence directly shapes brand perception (education, luxury hospitality, executive assistance, premium membership, or owner-led service operations).
  • Proven ownership of a complete client, admissions, or enrollment cycle from initial engagement through onboarding.
  • Experience concurrently managing 20+ client, guest, or family relationships across varying stages, supported by an organized tracking and prioritization approach.
  • Capacity to supply specific examples of consultative decision-making, including instances where you advised against your own product or service due to poor fit.
  • Professional written communication proficiency with senior leaders, high-net-worth clients, or discerning stakeholders.
  • Willingness to reside in or relocate within 60 days to one of these locations: San Rafael, CA; or Palo Alto, CA.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Nice-to-have Requirements

  • Experience with selective independent school admissions or competitive program enrollment.
  • Background in luxury hospitality, VIP client services, or executive support functions.
  • Experience designing or refining enrollment workflows, standard operating procedures, or service protocols.
  • Proficiency leveraging data and CRM analytics to enhance conversion alignment, not merely velocity.
