About the role

Our flagship high school is redefining what families can expect from secondary education—and what comes after. As Director of Admissions, you will introduce driven students and their families to an education model designed to deliver exceptional results. You will also host media representatives, international visitors, business executives, investors, and education thought leaders who visit to observe how Alpha is reimagining the traditional high school experience.

Alpha high school students complete their academic requirements in just three hours each day using adaptive learning technology. The remaining time is devoted to acquiring practical skills, launching entrepreneurial projects, participating in internships, and cultivating the autonomy needed for post-graduation success.

Responsibilities

  • Lead personalized campus tours, information sessions, and enrollment discussions that deliver outstanding admissions experiences and enable families to choose Alpha with confidence.
  • Act as the primary representative for Alpha's flagship campus by hosting media, international delegations, corporate partners, investors, education leaders, and other high-profile guests.
  • Cultivate meaningful relationships with prospective families, guiding ambitious students and their parents to understand how Alpha's approach equips graduates for distinguished outcomes in college, career, and entrepreneurship.
  • Continuously enhance the flagship admissions journey by recognizing improvement opportunities at every stage and developing scalable best practices for the broader network.
  • Collaborate closely with campus leadership, marketing, and admissions colleagues to ensure that each visitor interaction reflects Alpha's dedication to excellence.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience providing premium, personalized service in settings where service quality has a direct impact on brand perception.
  • Proven ownership of a complete admissions, enrollment, or consultative client process, encompassing application, needs assessment, solution presentation, commitment, and onboarding.
  • Proven ownership of enrollment expansion or a comparable high-value customer acquisition objective, including proactive lead generation, local market or community partnership development, and documented conversion or growth results.
  • Experience simultaneously managing multiple prospective clients or families at various stages of a pipeline using a CRM, database, or other formal tracking system.
  • Ability to provide specific examples of consultative decision-making, including instances where you advised against your product or service when it was not an appropriate match.
  • Experience facilitating in-person tours, presentations, consultations, or hosted experiences for prospective families, senior executives, VIP clients, or other distinguished visitors.
  • Experience creating professional written communications intended for executives, high-net-worth clients, or other senior audiences.
  • Willingness to reside in or relocate within 60 days to Austin, TX.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.

Nice-to-have Requirements

  • Experience overseeing admissions, enrollment, guest experience, or customer success operations in a high-growth organization.
  • Experience welcoming executive-level visitors, media, VIP clients, or facilitating public-facing events.
  • Experience enhancing customer or visitor experiences through data analysis, feedback, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms and admissions or customer relationship management systems.

Benefits

  • Full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position.
  • Compensation level for this role is $100 USD/hour, which equates to $200,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year.
  • Weekly payment period.

Pay and Schedule

The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record.
