Director of Accounts
About the role
As the Director of Accounts, Car Rental, you will serve as the primary link between UVeye and one or more car rental clients, ensuring their needs are met and the relationship is continuously strengthened. You will brainstorm new ways to maintain and expand these partnerships, acting as the executive point of contact and liaison between clients and internal teams to drive timely, high-quality delivery of solutions.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary executive point of contact for car rental client(s), establishing and developing long-lasting, trusted relationships with decision makers at all levels and across relevant functions.
- Act as the liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of solutions and commitments.
- Own the overall account strategy for each assigned customer, defining the multi-threaded engagement plan, value roadmap, and executive alignment needed to grow and retain the account.
- Lead account planning and execution by setting clear objectives, success metrics, stakeholder maps, and quarterly priorities—then driving internal accountability to deliver against the plan.
- Identify opportunities for additional deployments or development with clients and build action plans to execute them.
- Align cross-divisional customer strategy with customer and product business units.
- Monitor and improve the status and health of the customer relationship, including client feedback, follow-up tasks, and effectiveness.
- Measure, monitor, and influence customer targets and strategies, completing monthly and/or quarterly business reviews.
- Assist customers in maximizing the value they receive from products and the overall relationship.
- Monitor internal sentiment, offer and provide platform education and training as needed.
- Travel to customer locations to support onboarding and system training activities.
- Handle other projects as assigned.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience managing major Enterprise Accounts with group references, preferably with major car rental companies.
- 5+ years of experience leading managers or Team Leads within a high-growth or fast-paced environment.
- Proven track record of scaling Customer Success organizations and driving measurable business outcomes across retention, adoption, expansion, and operational performance.
- Strong leadership and organizational management skills with the ability to coach leaders, drive accountability, and build high-performing teams.
- Comfortable speaking with various client stakeholders, including Department Leads, Executives, Field Teams, and Technical Leadership/Teams.
- Demonstrated experience building scalable operational processes, playbooks, and customer engagement frameworks.
- Strong analytical and operational mindset with experience leveraging dashboards, customer health metrics, CRM reporting, and data insights to drive strategy and execution.
- Exceptional executive communication, relationship management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Commercial acumen with demonstrated success driving expansion revenue, renewals, and long-term customer growth.
- Able to build and expand client relationships by listening to client needs and identifying opportunities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft and/or Google Docs, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- In-depth understanding of the Automotive, Dealership, Fleet Management, and Logistics landscape.
- Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time to various customer locations.

Pay
The annual base salary range for this position is $120,000 – $170,000. In addition, this position is eligible for a bonus.
Physical Requirements
This role may involve on-site or field-based activities, including extended periods of sitting, standing, or walking. Tasks may require working in and around vehicle service areas, rental facilities, dealerships, manufacturing sites, or warehouse environments. The role may also require travel, working in varying environmental conditions, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) when appropriate.
