Director of Accounting

About the role

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced accounting leader to join a growing organization during an exciting period of expansion and transformation. As Director of Accounting, you'll help build a scalable finance function, strengthen internal controls, and partner closely with executive leadership to support continued growth.

What you'll do

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process.
• Oversee GAAP financial reporting, reconciliations, and accounting operations.
• Strengthen internal controls, improve processes, and maintain audit readiness.
• Partner with operational leaders to improve financial performance and reporting.
• Lead and develop the accounting team while fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
• Support board reporting, lender compliance, KPI reporting, and finance transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, month-end close, and internal controls.
• Experience building scalable accounting processes in a growing organization.

Preferred:

• CPA.
• Public accounting background.
• Private equity experience.
• Multi-location, industrial, manufacturing, construction, or field services experience.
