Director of Accounting

About the role

The role at Episcopal Church Home focuses on providing high-quality care and support to residents in various living options including independent/ residential living, assisted living, memory care, long-term care, and short-term rehab. The position also includes responsibilities related to the Center for Memory Support & Inclusion, Deupree Meals On Wheels, Swipe 'N' Dine, Living Well Senior Solutions, and other services offered by Episcopal Church Home.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and professional care to residents in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Monitor and record resident health and safety status.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in healthcare or related field preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Pass a background check and criminal history review.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of aging-related issues and best practices in senior care.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
