Director of Accounting

Century Group is partnering with a client seeking a Director of Accounting to join their team. Expected starting base salary of $170,000 to $210,000 per year.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger activities, cash management, payables, receivables, and payroll functions.
• Lead month-end close processes and ensure accurate preparation of financial statements, management reports, and performance analyses.
• Review account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial data to maintain the accuracy and integrity of accounting records.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and financial reporting activities to support business decisions.
• Partner with auditors, operational leaders, and executive management to support compliance, reporting, and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience, preferably within hospitality, entertainment, or service-based environments.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, and general accounting principles.
• Previous experience with accounting software, financial systems, and advanced Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including occasional travel and extended hours when business needs require.

• Familiarity with inventory accounting, cost analysis, point-of-sale systems, and operational finance processes.

Pay

Expected starting base salary of $170,000 to $210,000 per year.
