Director of Academic Learning and Progress - School of Medicine
for section headings (e.g., About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). Do NOT repeat job title as heading. Do NOT put Job ID/requisition numbers as headings. Preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail. Remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. Include a section ONLY when posting has real, specific content for it — never emit heading followed by filler/placeholder text. Prefer few substantive sections over many thin ones.
We need to parse the posting: It includes:
- "Why Work at BYU" (mission statement, belonging statement, employment requirements, equal opportunity). This is basically about the organization, maybe "About the role"? Actually "Why Work at BYU" is about the organization, could be "About the role"? But we have to use headings like About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We can choose which sections have content.
We have content about responsibilities: "What You'll Be Doing In This Position" with subsections: Academic Progress Strategy..., Early Alert..., Staff Leadership..., Cross-Office Partnerships..., MSPE..., Institutional Service...
We have content about Education/Experience: Minimum Required: Master’s degree ... AND 4 years of progressively responsible experience academic support.
We have content about "Why Work at BYU" which is about the organization and mission; could be placed under "About the role" or maybe "Qualifications"? But "About the role" is appropriate for description of the role and organization.
We have no explicit Pay, Benefits, Schedule. So we should not create those sections.
We have no explicit Skills list separate from responsibilities; but we could include a Skills section if there are explicit skill mentions. The posting mentions: highly organized, proactive, adaptable, anticipate needs, contribute to culture of collaboration and spiritual enrichment. Also mention of using data, etc. Could be considered skills. But we can incorporate into Responsibilities or Qualifications. The instruction: prefer few substantive sections over many thin ones. So we could have sections: About the role (includes Why Work at BYU, mission, belonging, employment requirements), Responsibilities (the detailed duties), Qualifications (Education/Experience). Possibly also Skills if we want but maybe not needed.
We must not repeat job title as heading. The job title is "Director of Academic Learning and Progress - School of Medicine". We should not put that as heading.
We must not include boilerplate like Equal Opportunity etc? Actually Equal Opportunity is part of Why Work at BYU? It appears after Employment Requirements: "Equal Opportunity Brigham Young University is an Equal Opportunity Employer..." That is boilerplate; we should remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate. So we should remove the Equal Opportunity paragraph. Also remove any duplicated lines.
We need to preserve all substantive information. So we keep the mission statement, belonging statement, employment requirements (temple recommend, Honor Code, etc). We keep the responsibilities details. We keep the Education/Experience.
We need to format with headings and - for any list of duties/requirements/benefits, and

Thus we can have:

- Cross-Office Partnerships, Professional Progress, and Mission-Centered Formation: Partner with curriculum leaders ...
- MSPE, Documentation Governance, and Reporting: Coordinate the academic and professional-progress information needed for MSPE preparation ...
- Institutional Service, Representation, and Professional Development: Represent the Office of Student Progress ...
Qualifications
Minimum Required: Master’s degree in education, psychology, learning sciences, counseling, health professions education, or related field AND 4 years of progressively responsible experience academic support
We should also include any other qualifications like "highly organized, proactive, adaptable, anticipate needs, contribute to a culture of collaboration and spiritual enrichment." Those could be considered skills or qualifications. Could add to Qualifications as a list.
But we must not create filler sections. We have substantive content for About the role, Responsibilities, Qualifications. That's three sections.
We need to ensure we didn't include any boilerplate like Equal Opportunity. Also remove any duplicated lines. The posting also includes "Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are required to hold and be worthy to hold a current temple recommend to be hired and to remain in any position at BYU. In hiring decisions, Brigham Young University lawfully gives strong preference to qualified, faithful members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. All employees are required to abide by the university's Honor Code and Dress & Grooming Standards. Successful candidates are expected to support and contribute to the academic and religious missions of the university, which are aligned with the principles and doctrine of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints." That's part of Employment Requirements; we should keep that.
Also the "Why Work at BYU" includes mission statement etc. We'll keep that.
