Job Summary
You will direct the operations of our Family Birth Center, which includes L&D, Postpartum, NICU, Peds, and Infant Development Clinic. Our center has 11 private rooms in L&D, 14 in Postpartum, and a new 40-bed NICU. We average 150 deliveries per month with an ADC in the NICU of 20.
Responsibilities
- Work with senior leadership on strategy and key initiatives
- Collaborate with front-line leaders to maintain high standards of patient care
- Advise medical staff, other department heads, and administrators on patient care, clinical best practices, and strategies
- Communicate the organization’s goals to the staff to improve patient experience and care quality
- Lead with experience in L&D, and a track record of success in managing high-risk L&D services in mid to large-sized hospitals
- Be committed to social justice, health equity, and ready to deliver care in innovative ways
Requirements
- Required Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent, Master's degree in nursing or other-related field (MSN/MBA/MHA) preferred
- Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience
- Minimum two (2) years of leadership experience
- Required Licensure: Registered Nursing License (RN) in CA, Basic Life Support (BLS)
