About the role
This is a remote leadership position responsible for delivering performance, risk mitigation, and overall Major Project outcomes aligned with KONE’s business strategy. You will drive delivery execution of Major Projects through Project Executives, ensuring alignment with schedule, cost, quality, and safety goals. The role requires strategic oversight, risk management, and escalation support, as well as a commitment to fostering an inclusive, collaborative, and high-trust environment.
Responsibilities
- Translate strategy into actionable team goals.
- Identify and develop future leaders, particularly in critical roles.
- Help teams navigate ambiguity and shifting priorities.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (Operations, Finance, Safety, etc.).
- Ensure consistent execution standards and governance.
- Escalate risks appropriately while empowering teams to solve problems.
- Drive adoption of new ways of working, tools, and processes.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive experience in construction project management.
- 5+ years in leadership roles overseeing large-scale or major construction projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree or PMP certification preferred).

Pay
The national hiring range for this remote role is $201,700 – $264,705. The compensation package will depend on the candidate’s experience, skill set, certifications, and location. Location-specific ranges:
- Lisle, IL area hiring range: $215,800 – $283,290.
Variable compensation includes a KONE Annual Bonus plan at 25% Target Incentive (70/30) based on achievement of company and individual goals.
