Director - Molecular Science Liaison

Job Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day activities of the MSL team
• Create and coordinate training and enablement plan
• Track MSL activity and customer interactions
• Ensure MSLs can successfully perform responsibilities
• Communicate the value of Caris Molecular Intelligence (CMI) to external clients
• Provide feedback and information between the medical community and Caris Life Sciences
• Support and present at molecular tumor board meetings
• Promote CMI to physician sites across the United States
• Attend POA/Commercial pitch meetings and other important relationship development meetings
• Present clinical data and educational materials to physician sites and/or conferences
• Assist in field training contracted speakers
• Participate in regional and national tradeshows
• Review and provide input on marketing material

Required Qualifications

• Ph.D. or M.D. in a biological science related to pharmacology, cancer biology, or molecular and cellular biology or equivalent training and experience
• 3+ years of management experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a commercial atmosphere such as Pharmaceuticals or Commercial Lab space
• Prior field experience working with customers and/or sales organization
• Ability to think creatively and initiate new ideas or solutions to business issues
• Independence of thought and sound judgment relating to business needs
• Demonstrated commitment, self-motivation, and drive
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Internet for business use
