About the role

The Director, Merchandising Operations - Global HOKA reports to the VP, Merchandising & Brand Planning - Global HOKA and works in a hybrid model, typically 3 days per week in Portland, OR.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Go To Market seasonal process, partnering with product and marketing operations to ensure flawless execution and governance.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment, visibility, and communication for Go To Market and global merchandising processes across all teams.
  • Develop and manage the global merchandising and brand planning seasonal process, collaborating with product and marketing operations.
  • Serve as the business voice to technology and data teams, advocating for the needs of the business to support seasonal processes.
  • Act as the technology, systems, and data expert for global and regional business teams, supporting successful execution and future vision.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience across merchandising, consulting, category management, merchandising operations, or product operations.
  • Experience developing and managing merchandising or Go To Market processes, preferably in consumer products industries (footwear, apparel, sporting goods, or related).
  • Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive cross-functional collaboration at all levels.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills with impeccable attention to detail.
  • Strong proficiency in data management, merchandising, and product management tools.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Experience in a similar role within a global organization.
  • Experience with ERP systems and supply chain management.
  • Knowledge of retail merchandising principles and practices.
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.

Pay

$154,700.00 - $208,800.00 annually, depending on location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
