Director, Merchandising - Digestive Health
Position Summary
As a Merchandising Director, you will leverage your expertise and vision to shape the products that bring Walmart to life in stores and online. You will advocate and negotiate with the scale and resources of Walmart, making a direct impact on the business and helping families save money and live better.
What you'll do...
Set the category strategy: Identify relevant trends to meet customer needs and own the strategy and growth for multiple formats and departments for large, complex, or high-risk categories and subcategories.
Grow your business: Drive the planning, budgeting, forecasting, and growth for your categories, and establish a comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape to incorporate into your business plans.
Build relationships: Establish and influence high-visibility supplier relationships, guiding them in the development of customer-focused processes and products.
Lead your team: Determine and support resource requirements, evaluate operational processes, measure outcomes, and identify and capitalize on improvement opportunities.
Know your category: Always look for creative ideas to drive business improvements, innovation, and customer experience.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising, or related field and 5 years’ experience in merchandising management, buying, financial planning, operations, or related area.
OR 7 years’ experience in merchandising management, buying, financial planning, operations, or related area.
2 years’ supervisory experience.
