About the role

The successful candidate will join Revolution Medicines, a late-stage clinical oncology company focused on developing novel targeted therapies for patients with RAS-addicted cancers. The company's R&D pipeline includes RAS(ON) inhibitors designed to suppress diverse oncogenic variants of RAS proteins, with several compounds currently in clinical development.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in peer-to-peer scientific dialogue with healthcare professionals to translate insights into meaningful contributions.
  • Serve as a therapeutic expert and thought partner to internal teams, ensuring alignment on scientific and medical strategies.
  • Liaise between Revolution Medicines and clinical study sites/investigators, facilitating smooth clinical trial operations.
  • Support medical education, advisory boards, and medical congresses to enhance the visibility of Revolution Medicines within the scientific community.

Requirements

  • Doctoral degree in scientific or medical discipline.
  • 8+ years experience as an MSL or in a similar role within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
  • 3+ years experience as an MSL working in the lung cancer disease state area.
  • Strong understanding of clinical research methodologies and drug development processes.
  • Knowledge and experience within the oncology therapeutic area.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to analyze and synthesize scientific information effectively.
  • Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex scientific data to diverse audiences.
  • Strong networking skills with proven ability to successfully build and maintain relationships with KOLs and healthcare professionals.
  • Self-directed and able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 60% of time.

Pay

The base pay salary range for this full-time position is $236,000 - $259,000 USD. This is one part of the overall total rewards program, which includes competitive cash compensation, robust equity awards, strong benefits, and significant learning and development opportunities. Some positions may also include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and/or individual performance.

Schedule

The role covers Philadelphia, New Jersey, Maryland, and DC. The ideal candidate should be located within an hour drive of a major airport.
