Director - Medical - Clinical Research Physician

For our client, we are seeking a Director - Medical - Clinical Research Physician to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This physician leader will help shape the clinical strategy and development plans for early-phase programs with a focus on women’s health. The role partners closely with clinical research teams, external experts, and healthcare providers to advance study design, execution, and interpretation across a global portfolio. This position also plays a key role in patient safety, regulatory readiness, and the integration of pharmacologic and statistical insights into clinical development. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $201,000 – $393,800 annually Responsibilities Contribute to strategy and clinical planning for early-phase compounds targeting women’s health Collaborate with local clinical research teams to design and execute global clinical trials Integrate pharmacological and statistical modeling into study development Oversee implementation of clinical trial protocols and methods Monitor patient safety and manage adverse events during clinical studies Participate in regulatory report preparation and compliance Develop relationships with external experts and health care providers Qualifications Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) with board eligibility or certification in a medical specialty Completion of relevant post-medical school clinical training Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology preferred Clinical research or pharmaceutical medicine experience preferred Fluency in English with strong interpersonal and organizational skills Benefits Comprehensive health benefits including medical, dental, and vision 401(k) plan with company sponsorship Pension benefits Flexible spending accounts for healthcare and dependent care Employee assistance and well-being programs Generous vacation policies and time-off benefits Opportunities for professional development and coaching Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
