Meet the Team

The Marketing M&A team drives the integration of Cisco’s acquisitions to ensure a unified brand and maximize joint-marketing synergies. This team collaborates across Corporate Development, Legal, Finance, IT, and other functions to deliver seamless integration experiences. Your Impact

As the Marketing M&A Functional Leader, you will lead the strategy and execution of marketing integrations for Cisco’s acquisitions. You will oversee the entire integration lifecycle—from due diligence through to deal closure—ensuring alignment with Cisco’s brand and growth objectives. Your leadership will drive process optimization, risk mitigation, and cultural integration, while managing key performance indicators and executive reporting. Success in this role means delivering scalable, repeatable integration processes that protect deal value and accelerate business momentum.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in marketing roles, including significant exposure to mergers and acquisitions or integration management.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience.
  • Proven track record managing complex, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking with the ability to translate business outcomes into actionable integration strategies.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with experience influencing executive leadership and building strategic relationships.
  • Deep expertise in demand generation, brand architecture, digital marketing, and go-to-market strategies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA.
  • Experience in financial modeling, risk assessment, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Adaptability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments with a focus on innovation.
  • Strong change management skills, including cultural integration and communication during transitions.
  • Collaborative mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
  • Experience developing and optimizing playbooks, dashboards, and integration tools.

Pay

The starting salary range for this position is $195,000.00 to $245,800.00 for new hires in U.S. and/or Canada locations, not including incentive compensation, equity, or benefits. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location, market conditions, job-related skillset, experience, qualifications, education, certifications, and/or training.

The full salary ranges for specific locations are:

  • New York City Metro Area: $230,000.00 - $333,300.00
  • Non-Metro New York State & Washington State: $207,000.00 - $300,000.00

For quota-based sales roles on Cisco’s sales plan, the ranges provided include base pay and sales target incentive compensation combined.

  • Paid time away:
    • 10 paid holidays per full calendar year, plus 1 floating holiday for non-exempt employees.
    • 1 paid day off for employee’s birthday.
    • Paid year-end holiday shutdown.
    • 4 paid days off for personal wellness.
    • Non-exempt employees receive 16 days of paid vacation time per full calendar year, accrued at a rate of 4.92 hours per pay period for full-time employees.
    • Exempt employees participate in Cisco’s flexible vacation time off program, with no defined limit on vacation time (subject to availability and business limitations).
    • 80 hours of sick time off provided on hire date and each January 1st thereafter, with up to 80 hours of unused sick time carried forward from one calendar year to the next.
    • Additional paid time away may be requested to deal with critical or emergency issues for family members.
    • Optional 10 paid days per full calendar year to volunteer.
  • Annual bonuses for non-sales roles, subject to Cisco’s policies.
  • For sales roles, performance-based incentive pay on top of base salary, split between quota and non-quota components.
