Responsibilities
- Evaluate strategic opportunities through financial and qualitative analysis
- Identify financial and operational issues
- Develop recommendations
- Support executive decision-making
- Lead execution of selected projects
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or Economics; CPA or MBA preferred
- 5 years minimum in investment banking, corporate development, transaction consulting, or principle investing
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, adaptability, and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to present complex ideas clearly
- Expertise in financial modeling (DCF, LBO, returns analysis) and valuation methodologies
- Hands-on M&A and corporate development experience across the full deal lifecycle
- Strategic foresight to assess fit, risks, synergies, and long-term impact
- Proven project management and cross-functional leadership
- Advanced analytical skills and Excel proficiency
Qualifications
- Experience managing all phases from evaluation to execution and post-close integration of M&A and corporate development processes
- Ability to assess alignment of acquisitions to strategic objectives for each line of business
- Knowledge of market and industry analysis techniques
- Experience coordinating and managing vendors used in transaction processes
- Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation methodologies
- Skills in executive communication and presenting investment cases to senior leadership and the Board
- Experience overseeing financial diligence and collaborating with internal and external teams
- Experience ensuring integration/separation success, financial goal achievement, and synergy tracking after transactions
- Active participation in deal sourcing and deal selection processes
