This role will provide business-aligned guidance focused on governance, compliance, and operational risk management. You will partner with leaders, compliance stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate complex issues into practical recommendations. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen responsible execution, improve decision-making, and support sustainable growth within a technology-driven environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a global contracts team, driving operational excellence within the Legal & Compliance function
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex international agreements, including SaaS and hardware contracts
- Provide legal guidance to Sales and stakeholders in negotiations and contract drafting
- Advise on data privacy, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance issues relevant to global technology operations
- Develop and deliver training on contract matters to internal stakeholders worldwide
- Understand company operations and market trends to formulate effective legal strategies
- Identify and escalate major legal issues to the General Counsel as necessary
Qualifications
- 5+ years of legal experience focused on corporate and commercial transactions in a multinational technology context
- Significant in-house experience with highly regulated sectors such as fintech and payments
- Expertise in negotiating complex technology contracts with global financial institutions and other regulated entities
- Proficient in data privacy, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence regulations and contractual matters
- Experience managing cross-border legal operations and local counsel coordination
- Strong understanding of compliance regulations like export controls and anti-corruption laws
- JD from an accredited law school and an active bar membership
