Director, IT Portfolio Management & Shared Services

About the role

The Director, IT Portfolio Management collaborates with the business portfolio team to align the IT portfolio and demand. The role is critical to the success of the organization, supporting the execution of strategies, improving operations, modernizing technology, enhancing security, advancing maturity, and developing talent.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team responsible for IT Portfolio Management and Lean Business Case Analysis and Development
• Lead a team responsible for Financial Management
• Lead a team responsible for Communications and Change Management
• Lead a team responsible for Operations Support and Metrics
• Lead a team responsible for Talent Strategy and Management, including Operating Model and Resourcing
• Provide Agile Coaching

Requirements

• Master's Degree
• 8 or more years of technical experience
• 5 or more years of management experience
• Attention to detail and effective communication skills
• Advanced experience leading special projects and producing metrics, measurements, and trend reports
• Passion for contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Qualifications

• MBA or other Advanced Degree preferred
• Six Sigma certification or PMP certification preferred
• Experience running large scale, highly visible programs with responsibility for multiple project teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in operations, technology, communications, and processes
• Experience in Six Sigma or PMP

Additional Information

• Work-At-Home Requirements: Must have a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office
• Travel: Occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required
• Pay Range: $172,200 - $236,900 per year
