Director, IT Operations

For our client, we are seeking a Director, IT Operations to join the team of a leader in the Consumer Technology space. This role will guide a multi-functional IT Operations organization and shape the strategy for how technology support is delivered across a growing, global workforce. The director will partner closely with executive leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to improve service quality, streamline logistics, and elevate the employee experience. This is a highly visible leadership role with an opportunity to bring innovation, including AI-enabled support, to core IT operations. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $215,000 – $227,000 annually Responsibilities Lead and manage the IT Operations organization across three functional teams through direct-report managers. Define the vision and strategy for IT Operations, aligning team goals with broader company objectives. Implement next-generation IT support that integrates AI and improves employee experience. Simplify international IT logistics to support efficient global expansion. Collaborate with executive leadership and other departments to ensure seamless IT service delivery. Identify and execute at least one leading initiative each year to transform IT operations. Qualifications 5-7 years of experience leading IT operations in a mid-to-large technology company. Proven ability to manage and mentor teams of 20+ across multiple IT functions. Significant budget management experience with IT budgets exceeding $5M. Ability to drive organizational change and implement innovative solutions, not just maintain existing practices.
