Montauk AI is redefining investment banking for home-based care. As the first AI-native platform for healthcare M&A, we deliver faster, more accurate valuations, smarter buyer matching, and higher deal certainty. We’re based in Hoboken, NJ and work nationwide with founders, operators, and strategic buyers.

The Director of Investment Banking will lead deal teams from origination through close, overseeing valuation strategy, due diligence, client relations, and negotiations. You will also play a critical role in mentoring analysts and helping build the infrastructure of a modern, technology-enabled investment bank.

Responsibilities

• Lead M&A engagements from initial pitch through diligence and closing, with a focus on home-based care transactions.
• Oversee the development of financial models, CIMs, and buyer lists, integrating AI-driven insights and forecasting tools.
• Interface directly with founders, CEOs, private equity firms, and strategics to structure and close deals.
• Manage and mentor junior team members, fostering a data-driven and performance-focused culture.
• Collaborate with engineering and AI teams to enhance tools that improve client outcomes and deal velocity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
• 5–10 years of experience in M&A or investment banking, preferably in healthcare or tech-enabled services.
• Demonstrated ability to close mid-market deals independently.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, tech-enabled environment.
