Job Summary

This strategic leadership position oversees catalog and procurement governance, inventory and direct materials strategies, warehouse and distribution management, and supplier relationship management. The role aims to improve operational performance, reduce costs, and mitigate risks through a category management approach.

Essential Functions

  • Catalog & Procurement Governance: Administer, maintain data integrity, and manage supplier punch-outs for internal catalogs within Coupa.

  • Inventory & Direct Materials: Develop and implement strategies for direct purchase inventory, optimize stock levels, manage material replenishment, and minimize stockouts.

  • Warehouse & Distribution Management: Standardize operations, set efficiency metrics, and track inventory across regional or global distribution centers.

  • Supplier Relationships: Lead the Procurement team's collaborative culture, develop relationships with Progress leaders, and manage supplier performance in terms of cost, quality, and delivery.

  • Contracting Strategy & Negotiation: Own the contracting process and negotiate supplier agreements to align with Progress's long-term goals.

  • Departmental Policies & Procedures: Develop and oversee departmental policies, procedures, and processes to ensure efficient operations.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 10+ years in Inventory Management, Logistics, Supply Chain.

  • Skills: Proficiency in various Procurement and ERP software solutions, particularly Coupa.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, finance, economics, data analytics/science, or business administration.

  • Travel: 10-20% (5-10 trips per year).
