Accountabilities
- Lead the expansion strategy across priority global markets while building the systems, teams, and partnerships needed for sustainable growth.
- Serve as the strategic owner of international go-to-market initiatives, ensuring alignment between regional execution and broader business objectives.
- Define market prioritization, sequencing, localization requirements, and investment strategies while presenting recommendations to executive leadership.
- Build and scale regional marketing capabilities through direct team leadership, agency partnerships, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Establish operating rhythms across field marketing, demand generation, sales, partnerships, communications, and product marketing teams to drive regional execution.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights gathering to identify opportunities, challenges, and regional requirements.
- Develop strategic partnerships with channel, technology, and regional organizations to increase market credibility and accelerate growth.
- Partner with sales and revenue teams to create pipeline strategies, account targeting approaches, and territory plans aligned with commercial goals.
- Adapt messaging, positioning, and marketing programs to meet local buyer needs while maintaining global brand consistency.
- Define performance metrics, reporting frameworks, and ROI measurements to evaluate market maturity and business impact.
- Lead test-and-learn initiatives, using data and insights to determine where to invest, adjust, or expand efforts.
- Manage regional budgets, vendor relationships, and resource allocation to maximize marketing efficiency.
- Create repeatable international expansion playbooks covering market launches, campaigns, partnerships, and growth strategies.
- Represent international growth initiatives in executive and leadership discussions when needed.
Requirements
- Broad B2B marketing leadership experience, strong international market expertise, and a proven ability to turn expansion strategies into measurable commercial results.
- A strategic thinker and hands-on operator who can navigate complexity, build from scratch, and influence teams across regions.
- 10+ years of experience in B2B marketing, with significant experience leading international, regional, or new market expansion initiatives.
- 3+ years of experience managing teams and/or leading cross-functional, global, or matrixed organizations.
- Proven track record of developing and scaling go-to-market strategies across international markets.
- Experience driving measurable business outcomes, including pipeline generation, revenue growth, and market adoption.
- Strong experience partnering with sales, marketing, operations, and executive leadership teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, negotiate with vendors, and prioritize resources across multiple regions.
- Excellent executive communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments, make strategic decisions with limited information, and build new processes from the ground up.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally on a quarterly basis and as needed for market execution.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience launching or scaling operations in LATAM, Europe/UK, Canada, or similar international markets.
- Fluency or professional working proficiency in Spanish in addition to English.
- Background in B2B enterprise technology, SaaS, logistics, fleet, or industrial technology sectors.
- Experience with account-based marketing and sales-driven go-to-market strategies.
- Previous experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or international expansion roles.
- Experience navigating regulatory, compliance, and localization requirements for new markets.
