Director, International Finance & Strategy
The Finance & Strategy team contributes to Collectors' mission by enabling decision making with key financial insights. The team partners with our senior business leaders to support strong operational management of the business and to facilitate strategic decision making focused on key growth investments, operational improvements, new business opportunities, and strategic transactions.
About the role
We are looking for a Director, International Finance & Strategy to support our rapidly expanding businesses in the collectibles grading and marketplace space. Reporting directly to our VP of Finance & Strategy, this role will partner closely with business unit leaders to drive growth in our international markets — providing financial leadership on business development efforts, new market entry plans, and day-to-day operational performance. This individual will also be responsible for coaching and developing 2–3 direct reports.
Responsibilities
- Provide financial leadership on geographic expansion and business development plans, including new market entry analysis and investment case development
- Partner with grading and marketplace business leaders to deepen their teams' understanding of financial levers and drive performance improvement
- Communicate key financial and operational metrics to create transparency into international performance and inform strategic and operational decisions
- Own financial planning, forecasting, and reporting for international business units — ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and relevance to leadership needs
- Build and maintain financial models that support investment decisions, scenario planning, and long-term strategy for international markets
- Manage and develop 2–3 direct reports, setting clear priorities, providing coaching, and ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of team outputs
- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, tools, and reporting capabilities to scale with the business
- Serve as a trusted thought partner to senior business leaders, bringing financial insight and strategic perspective to key decisions
Requirements
- At least 15 years of FP&A experience in a high-volume transaction or high-growth environment
- At least 5 years of FP&A leadership and business partnership experience — guiding critical decisions across day-to-day operations, investment opportunities, and long-term strategy
- Strong financial modeling and business case building skills; comfortable with complex scenario analysis and valuation frameworks
- A proactive leader who demonstrates a high level of ownership, accountability, and operating discipline
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex financial issues at all levels of the organization
- Experienced people manager with a track record of developing talent and managing team priorities under pressure
- Demonstrated ability to partner and influence across an organization and with key external stakeholders
- Outstanding Excel and data management skills; strong understanding of financial systems and tools (e.g., Adaptive, NetSuite)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements in a scaled or public-company-ready environment
Qualifications
- Nice To Have: Experience with consumer goods and/or digital businesses with consumer and operational components (e.g., CPG, ecommerce)
- Nice To Have: International FP&A experience across multiple geographies and currencies
- Nice To Have: Passionate about collectibles and/or sports
What You'll Do
International Financial Leadership

Physical Requirements
- Computer Use: Typing, mouse work, and sitting and looking at a computer potentially for long periods of time
- Hand Use: Regular hand use for various tasks
- Hearing Requirements: Ability to hear alarms, signals, and verbal instructions
- Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 25 pounds
- Phone Answering: Talking on the phone and texting may be required, as well as manual dexterity to operate a computer and phone system efficiently
- Sitting or Standing: Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $163,308 – $250,308. Actual compensation on this range varies based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, experience, and skill set.
