Director, Insight Research

For our client, we are seeking a Director, Insight Research to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This leader will shape enterprise research strategy that informs marketing, customer understanding, and business decision-making across the organization. The role is responsible for building a disciplined research function that delivers actionable insights, strong governance, and consistent measurement. You will partner closely with stakeholders across the enterprise to align research priorities with business objectives and improve how insight is generated and applied. This position also leads a team and helps strengthen the tools, processes, and standards that support research excellence. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $127,310 – $243,340 annually Responsibilities Design and coordinate enterprise-wide research activities Develop research programs aligned with organizational objectives Set research policies and governance for project monitoring Lead metrics and governance for member and marketplace research Build and maintain a high-performing research team Monitor market trends and formulate research insights Lead improvement and utilization of research tools and processes Qualifications Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant experience 8 years of experience in market research or quantitative analysis 3 years of team leadership or management experience Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills Proficient in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies Experience in project/process management Subject-matter-expert knowledge of Microsoft Office tools Benefits Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans 401(k) and pension plans Life insurance and parental support benefits Paid time off including holidays and volunteer hours Career path planning and continuing education programs Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
