About the Role

We are looking for a Director, Infrastructure who will lead the strategic planning, development, and management of the company's IT infrastructure. This role involves overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of systems and networks that support the organization's operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in infrastructure management and a strong track record of leadership in a dynamic, technology-driven environment. This is a remote position that requires regular availability during Eastern Time business hours to support effective collaboration across the team.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and implement a strategic vision for the company's IT infrastructure to support current and future business needs.
  • Lead and manage the infrastructure team, providing direction, mentorship, and professional development.
  • Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of network, server, storage, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of all IT systems and networks.
  • Manage infrastructure projects, including planning, execution, and delivery within budget and timeline constraints.
  • Establish and enforce policies, procedures, and standards for infrastructure management and security.
  • Monitor and analyze infrastructure performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, assessing their potential impact on the organization.
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for hardware, software, and services.

What You Will Bring

  • 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven experience in designing and managing complex IT infrastructure, including cloud environments.
  • Strong knowledge of network architecture, server management, storage solutions, and cybersecurity practices.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a focus on mentorship and professional development.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects.

Pay

The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $180,000 - $200,000. Additionally, you will be eligible to participate in our robust medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other benefit plans. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/certifications or training.
