About the role
We're seeking a Director, Influencer Marketing to lead strategic creator, influencer and celebrity programs for technology and corporate brands spanning hardware, software, enterprise, consumer tech and B2B ecosystems.
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead integrated creator, influencer and celebrity strategies for technology and corporate brands across hardware, software, SaaS and enterprise categories
- Design programs that align with complex marketing funnels — from thought leadership and brand positioning to product launches, demand generation and customer advocacy
- Translate technical or highly specialized subject matter into creator-led storytelling that drives credibility, engagement and action
- Bleed organic and paid strategies to maximize reach, optimize performance and drive measurable business results including engagement, lead generation and conversion
- Oversee influencer identification, casting, vetting, negotiation, contracting and content management across campaigns
- Build programs that leverage industry experts, executives, developers, founders, analysts and subject-matter creators — not just lifestyle influencers
- Develop client-facing strategic plans, measurement frameworks and performance reports; present results with clear business insights and optimization recommendations
- Collaborate with PR, integrated marketing, paid media, social and executive communications teams to ensure influencer activity supports broader corporate and product narratives
- Connect digital storytelling to real-world impact, including events, product demos, conferences, community building and sales enablement efforts
- Stay ahead of emerging platforms, creator business models, AI tools and evolving digital behaviors that impact the tech and corporate influence landscape
- Foster strong, trusted relationships between clients, creators, platform partners and industry communities
- Support new business development by contributing to strategy, scopes of work and proposal development for tech and corporate prospects
- Serve as a strategic partner to clients, advising on how influence drives reputation, relevance and revenue in competitive markets
Qualifications
- 5–7 years of relevant experience in influencer marketing, social media, PR or integrated communications, with a demonstrated track record of success across technology, corporate, hardware, software and/or B2B brands
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic communications and creator programs that drive tangible business results — from brand perception and thought leadership to engagement, lead generation and product adoption
- Strong understanding of the evolving social, digital and activation landscape, including how advocacy strategies differ across B2B and B2C platforms (LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, podcasts, Discord, industry communities, events, etc.)
- Deep knowledge of emerging trends, creators, industry experts, executives and talent shaping technology and business conversations — with a strong pulse on cultural, innovation and industry shifts
- Expertise in blending organic storytelling with paid amplification strategies to maximize reach, optimize performance and support measurable business objectives
- Ability to balance detail-oriented execution with big-picture strategic thinking, effectively managing multiple clients, complex campaigns and deadlines
- Experience managing and mentoring junior team members while confidently managing up to senior executives and client stakeholders
- Desire to constantly innovate and test new things, not just follow a pre-established playbook
