Director, Human Resources, Latin America & Caribbean

Job Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruitment for corporate and retail roles across Latin America and the Caribbean.
• Ensure seamless onboarding of new employees in partnership with the manager and the Payroll & HR Operations Specialist.
• Coach and support people managers in effectively leading their team to ensure high performance and engagement.
• Drive clear and consistent communication of company policies, practices, and key initiatives.
• Cultivate an inclusive culture that promotes diversity, equity, and fair management practices.
• Champion employee engagement programs to enhance workplace experience and retention.
• Manage the local payroll providers in Mexico, Brazil and St Barth.
• Ensure legal requirements are met and provide guidance to local employees.
• Lead the annual Performance Management cycle (ICR) and budget exercises in partnership with Director, Compensation and Benefits and Americas VP Human Resources.
• Lead talent review and succession planning efforts, identifying gaps and implementing development action plans.
• Foster company and group talent mobility and partnerships.
• Partner with Compensation & Benefits team on local compensation market analysis and recommendations.
• Responsible for HR data submission monthly and yearly to Headquarters and the LVMH group.
• Manage cross-functional HR projects, gathering stakeholder input and ensuring successful execution.

Requirements

• 10-15 years in Human Resources and people management.
• Must be experienced with Brazil labor law.
• Experience with other Latin America & Caribbean markets is a plus.
• Luxury retail experience required.
• Must be fluent in English and Portuguese. Spanish preferable and French a plus.

Compensation

$175,000 - $200,000 USD
