About the role

The Senior HR Business Partner for the Americas is a Director-level role supporting the United States, Canada, and Latin America. This role combines strategic partnership with hands-on operational delivery and requires the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver the People strategy for the Americas, with a particular focus on the commercial and sales organization.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior leaders, provide expert and pragmatic advice, and translate business priorities into effective workforce, talent, and organizational plans.
  • Support business transformation and change management, coaching leaders to strengthen leadership effectiveness, team performance, accountability, and employee engagement.
  • Partner with HR Operations to improve processes, maintain accurate employee records, and deliver a consistent employee experience.
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues across the UK, EMEAI, and APAC to align regional practices with global priorities.
  • Promote fair, consistent, inclusive, and merit-based people practices that support employee development, belonging, and opportunity.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Provide practical guidance on complex employee relations matters, including investigations, performance concerns, grievances, disciplinary matters, mediation, and workplace conflict.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and regional requirements across the United States, Canada, and Latin America.
  • Use workforce data, audits, and reporting to support informed decision-making, governance, and risk management.
  • Lead or contribute to regional and global HR projects and continuous-improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Significant HR experience, including experience as a senior HR Business Partner.
  • Proven experience supporting senior commercial or sales leaders.
  • Experience working across multiple countries, states, or jurisdictions.
  • Solid knowledge of U.S. employment law and HR practices; experience supporting Canada and Latin America is preferred.
  • Experience working in a global, matrixed organization and partnering with Centers of Excellence.
  • Solid experience in employee relations, workforce planning, organizational design, talent management, performance management, and leadership coaching.
  • Ability to operate both strategically and operationally, with sound judgment and confidence when advising senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • An advanced degree or HR certification is preferred.

Pay

The salary for this role is between $155,000 and $180,000 USD. The salary offered will reflect the skills and experience of the candidate.

Schedule

This role is a REMOTE role but we are only considering candidates located within close proximity to Boston, MA.
