About the role
Dermalogica is the professional skin care brand trusted by skin therapists worldwide — built on the principle that great skin health begins with expert hands and personalized care. The Director, Global Service Innovation is the person who shapes what that means next. This is a senior, cross-functional leadership role responsible for defining and executing a global vision for skincare services — from the bespoke in-spa treatment to entirely new service models reaching new consumers in new venues.
Requirements
- The ideal candidate brings a rare combination: the creative instinct to imagine what a service experience could be, and the operational rigor to make it global in scale.
- Entrepreneurial drive. You think big and execute. You have a track record of launching or significantly scaling a service-based concept — whether through your own venture, within an innovation agency, or in a complex corporate environment. You know what it takes to go from vision to delivered experience.
- A genuine innovation mindset. You don’t wait for best practices to emerge — you help define them. You are energized by ideating newer, better ways to bring services to life, and you bring others along in that process.
- Professional service expertise. You carry real insider knowledge. Deep experience in medical aesthetics, luxury beauty, high-end hospitality, or clinical skin care gives you credibility with therapists, partners, and professional audiences.
- Strong cross-functional influence. You are a natural leader who earns buy-in through clarity, conviction, and authentic collaboration. You’ve successfully aligned stakeholders across functions and geographies to move ambitious ideas forward.
- Marketing fluency. You understand how to bring a service to market — from naming and positioning to in-venue theatre and digital storytelling. You know that a great service experience lives or dies on how it’s communicated.
