Director, Global Security & Intelligence
About the role
For our client, we are seeking a Director, Global Security & Intelligence to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will shape and direct a global security and intelligence function that supports enterprise resilience, executive safety, and informed decision-making. The position will partner closely with senior leadership, law enforcement, and security vendors to strengthen protection strategies across travel, events, and day-to-day operations. It will also serve as a key incident leader during crises, helping ensure rapid response, clear governance, and effective coordination across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute global security strategy and governance
- Lead a protective intelligence program with integrated threat analysis
- Oversee executive protection initiatives during travel and events
- Act as executive incident commander for security crises
- Manage physical security operations and global investigations
- Cultivate relationships with law enforcement and security vendors
- Provide security briefings to board and executive leadership
Qualifications
- 10-15+ years in global corporate security or executive protection leadership
- Expertise in threat assessment and crisis management
- Experience in highly regulated insurance or financial sectors
- Previous role as a security director or similar enterprise leader
- CPP or CSMP preferred

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $170,000 – $245,000 annually
