Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a global security strategy aligned with business objectives and organizational risk priorities.
  • Establish enterprise security policies, standards, governance models, and operating procedures across all global offices and facilities.
  • Lead enterprise-wide security risk assessments and mitigation planning.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to executive leadership regarding emerging threats, security posture, and operational resilience.
  • Develop long-term roadmap for global security technology and GSOC maturity.

Global Security Operations Center (GSOC)

  • Lead the establishment and ongoing operation of a centralized U.S.-based Global Security Operations Center (GSOC).
  • Design the GSOC operating model, staffing structure, escalation procedures, and service delivery framework.
  • Oversee 24/7 monitoring of global office security systems including:
    • CCTV/video surveillance systems
    • Access control systems
    • Intrusion detection systems
    • Visitor management platforms
    • Alarm monitoring systems
    • Emergency notification systems
  • Real-time threat detection and monitoring, including threats directed at company executives, employees and facilities.
  • Develop global incident monitoring, triage, escalation, and response protocols.
  • Implement security intelligence and situational awareness capabilities to support global operations.
  • Coordinate real-time response and communication during security incidents, emergencies, and business disruptions.
  • Define GSOC performance metrics, reporting dashboards, and operational KPIs.
  • Lead selection and implementation of GSOC technologies, platforms, and integrations.

Physical Security Operations

  • Oversee day-to-day physical security operations for all global facilities and offices.
  • Standardize security practices, operational procedures, and guard force management across regions.
  • Ensure effective deployment and management of physical security technologies and systems.
  • Conduct facility vulnerability assessments and security audits globally.
  • Develop workplace violence prevention and threat management programs.

Global Expansion & Security Planning

  • Partner with Operations, Facilities, and executive leadership to support global expansion initiatives and new office development.
  • Lead security planning, risk assessments, and operational readiness activities for new offices, international expansions, and facility relocations.
  • Develop and implement physical security design standards, operational requirements, and security readiness plans for new locations.
  • Coordinate security system deployment, vendor management, and security integration for new facilities worldwide.
  • Ensure consistent global security standards while addressing regional regulations and local threat environments.

Protective Operations, Travel Security & Asset Protection

  • Lead enterprise travel security and protective operations programs for employees traveling domestically and internationally.
  • Develop and implement protocols for transporting, exhibiting, receiving, and storing high-value collectibles and sensitive assets.
  • Establish standards for:
    • Secure transportation and chain-of-custody
    • Packaging, handling, and storage
    • Employee travel safety and incident escalation
    • Coordination with logistics, customs, insurance, and shipping providers
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop security plans for global trade shows, conventions, and public-facing events.
  • Oversee trade show security operations including:
    • Booth and exhibit security
    • After-hours asset protection
    • Secure load-in/load-out procedures
    • Access control and vendor coordination
    • Theft prevention and emergency response
  • Coordinate with venue security, law enforcement, and third-party security providers to support global event operations and employee safety.

  • Oversee creation and roll out of threat monitoring program.

Security Technology & Systems

  • Lead enterprise security systems strategy and lifecycle management.
  • Oversee deployment, maintenance, and optimization of:
    • Enterprise access control systems
    • Global CCTV/video analytics platforms
    • Visitor management systems
    • Security monitoring and dispatch systems
    • Emergency communication platforms
    • GSOC software and situational awareness tools
  • Partner with IT and Cybersecurity teams on converged security initiatives and infrastructure resilience.
  • Ensure global system scalability, redundancy, and cybersecurity compliance for security technologies.

Incident Management & Investigations

  • Lead investigations involving theft, workplace violence, threats, misconduct, fraud, insider risk or security breaches.
  • Manage enterprise incident response and after-action review processes.
  • Coordinate with law enforcement, emergency responders, and external agencies globally as needed.
  • Maintain enterprise incident reporting and case management systems.

Crisis Management & Business Continuity

  • Support enterprise crisis management, emergency preparedness, and business continuity planning.
  • Lead security response during emergencies including:
    • Natural disasters
    • Civil unrest
    • Active threat incidents
    • Facility disruptions
    • Global travel or geopolitical risks

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with applicable corporate, regulatory, insurance, and security standards.
  • Conduct security audits, program assessments, and operational reviews.
  • Develop executive reporting related to incidents, trends, risks, and operational performance.
  • Support enterprise risk management initiatives related to security and operational resilience.

Vendor & Budget Management

  • Manage global security vendors, security integrators, monitoring providers, and guard service partners.
  • Oversee GSOC operational budgets and capital security investments.
  • Lead RFPs, vendor selection, and contract negotiations for enterprise security systems and services.
  • Ensure vendor accountability and SLA performance management.

Training

  • Oversee the development of a company-wide training program on key security principles and drive a security-first culture.
