About the team

The Global Business Services (GBS) Process Owner for Record-to-Report (RTR) is a key member of our GBS team, reporting to the VP of Operations. This role manages the intake of new work into our global business services platform, handling complex projects from M&A integration to migrating work from local finance teams to GBS. You’ll act as a critical liaison between M&A deal teams, business stakeholders, and GBS delivery teams, ensuring clear communication, scope definition, and proper resourcing.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of functional Global Product Owners and escalate issues to the SVP of Finance Operations.
• Oversee system performance from a functional process owner perspective and manage resources responsible for the system.
• Ensure integration points between existing systems and processes are functioning.
• Review and resolve issues, risks, and business impacts for all RTR processes.
• Proactively identify internal and external best practices to improve the end-to-end process.
• Update and maintain process flows and system updates.
• Own master data and maintain data integrity.
• Engage with Subject Matter Resources (SMRs) on an ongoing basis.
• Update and validate learning content (e.g., WalkMe, ILT, Reference Guides).
• Support training delivery and manage policy updates.
• Act as a change ambassador within the organization.

Requirements

• Knowledge of and experience with SAP.
• Background in centralized service centers supporting financial operations for multiple legal entities across regions, countries, languages, and currencies.
• Expertise in change management theory and practice.
• Demonstrated skills in financial process design, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement, particularly in Record-to-Report (RTR).
• Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills, with the ability to build global support in complex, multi-faceted organizations.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively to achieve objectives and deliverables aligned with the GBS vision.
• Experience working with remote teams across multiple locations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Media or entertainment industry experience.

Pay

Salary Range: $160,000–$170,000 annually. The actual base pay depends on factors such as work experience and business needs. The range may change based on internal and external factors.
