Job Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the global management company's accounting team through modernization.
- Standardize global accounting policies and operating procedures across jurisdictions.
- Drive automation and process redesign to improve reporting transparency and data accessibility.
- Serve as a strategic partner to the Head of Firm Finance, CFO, and the finance leadership team.
- Oversee global accounting operations for all management company entities.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
- Manage global consolidation of operating entities across multiple jurisdictions.
- Lead annual financial statement audits of management entities.
- Establish and enforce strong internal controls and accounting policies.
- Oversee payroll tax compliance and regulatory filings for operating entities.
- Oversee the global Accounts Payable function, including process design and operational oversight.
- Partner with the Head of Firm Finance and FP&A team on budgeting and forecasting.
- Contribute to implementation of an FP&A planning and modeling tool.
- Provide variance analysis and financial insight to senior leadership.
Qualifications
- CPA required.
- 12–15+ years of experience in asset management, private equity, or alternative investments.
- Experience leading management company accounting within an investment firm.
- Deep knowledge of revenue recognition for management fees, multi-entity global consolidations, U.S. GAAP / IFRS.
- Experience managing accounting teams across multiple jurisdictions.
- Experience leading finance process transformation and automation initiatives.
- Strong ERP (D365) and systems expertise.
Compensation
Salary: $200,000 – $300,000, Plus Bonus
