Director Global Finance Operations & Technology

Job Summary

The Director, Global Finance Operations & Technology is responsible for leading and delivering major global finance technology initiatives, designing and implementing standardized global finance operations frameworks, providing operational leadership across core finance processes, driving adoption of cloud platforms, AI, and automation, serving as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, and developing actionable insights from operational and financial data.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver major global finance technology initiatives, including Oracle Fusion, automation, and advanced analytics programs.
• Design and implement standardized global finance operations frameworks that balance enterprise consistency with regional requirements.
• Provide operational leadership across core finance processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement.
• Drive adoption of cloud platforms, AI, and automation by partnering closely with Finance, IT, HR, and other business functions.
• Serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Own finance data enablement efforts, including master data governance, metadata management, and data quality improvements.
• Develop actionable insights from operational and financial data to support senior leadership decisionmaking.
• Identify process gaps, risks, and control issues; implement remediation plans to strengthen governance and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field; MBA preferred
• 10+ years of progressive experience in finance operations, finance technology, or large-scale transformation initiatives
• Strong understanding of end-to-end finance processes, shared services models, and regulatory/compliance frameworks
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional, multinational teams in complex environments
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills
